Apparently it was just a precautionary recall, but I did find some more details on this topic (from the manufacturer Novartis) in an article linked below:

Excedrin Migraine contains a combination of 250 milligrams of aspirin, 250 milligrams of acetaminophen (Tylenol is a popular brand) and 65 milligrams of caffeine.
Wouldn't taking an aspirin, a Tylenol, and washing them down with a caffeinated drink (such as tea) accomplish the same thing?
